DMD-HVP (Dot Matrix Driver-High Voltage Power) board
This is the board that eliminates the faulty Dot Matrix controller high voltage circuit on all Williams and Bally Dot Matrix pinball machines made between 1991 and 1995.

Our board is designed to handle the excess current even when a display starts to burn out and at the same time it fixes the existing controller high voltage circuit by totally by-passing the faulty designed circuit.
The high voltage circuit can become severely damaged. Traces get burned, components get burned and some components can melt out of the circuit. This is very common, in fact it is not uncommon to have holes up to 1" burned completely through the circuit board. Don't risk this happening to your machine, install the DMD-HVP board and eliminate the chance.
If you own a Bally or Williams dot matrix pinball made between 1991 and 1995 inspect your driver board. If it shows any signs of burn at all then you need to install a DMD-HVP board immediately. Failure to do so can lead to a variety of problems including premature failure of the expensive Dot Matrix display itself (these displays can cost between $125-$200) or cause the entire Dot Matrix driver board to burn up as seen in the picture (these boards can cost from $125 up to $350 for a mint working original). Even if your Dot Matrix driver board does not show any signs of burn, it is highly recommended that you install a DMD-HVP board. This will not only eliminate the danger of the original board burning up, it will enhance your machines resale value by keeping the original board mint. If you have an old burned driver board laying around the DMD-HVP board can get it up and running again.
